Introducing Botched Ink® - Part 1

Since the launch of Botched Ink® saline tattoo removal solution on 13th January 2019, I personally have trained around 70 official Botched Ink® technicians, they can be found listed on the Find a Local Technician map

Now sitting taking stock of the launch and training events, it's worth looking back to how this all came about, reflecting on what I'm about and therefore what's Botched Ink®. Amusingly I said to a student somewhere along the line that Botched Ink® is like me in a sachet... and essentially it is !

When I began having these fanciful ideas of developing my own product I didn't quite know if I could pull it off, but here we are, with technicians as exciting about using Botched Ink® as I have been for developing it and training them

It was a big bold move within the cosmetic tattooing industry to bring out a new tattoo removal solution, but after careful research and pondering, I couldn't just stick my name on someone else's product.  I wanted to take saline tattoo removal solutions back to the drawing board and see what I could make happen

Very quickly things got really exciting when I realised I could trademark Botched Ink®.  Sitting watching Botched on the TV one evening I just had that light bulb moment over the name, particularly amusing when my company is called Beautiful Ink

If ever you think of a great name, job one rush to Google and see if the .com is available, and it was so I bought it.  Second job, search Google "Botched Ink", exactly like that with the " and " around your word or words, and see if anything comes up, anything at all in the whole wide world using those words in the way you want to use those words, and there was nothing. Third job, apply for the trademark

This was all done that same night, Botched was on record so got put on pause, more important things had my mind a whirl than watching someone else's botched nip and tuck.  There was 1000s of potential clients with botched ink that needed lifting, improving and removing, and 1000s of technicians who only knew how to put pigment in the skin
